We recently launched an equity Crowdfunding campaign on Mamacrowd to fund our projects for greater sustainability in the food supply chain. Our minimum goal was to raise €400,000 - a target we reached in just 5 days! The funds raised will be used to expand our capacity to recover unsold food through the creation of Surplus Treatment Units, dedicated centers for storing and transforming food surplus into new raw materials.

Biova Project has grown significantly in recent years, and we're thrilled to see our products reaching more and more people. For us, it's essential to continue contributing to the fight against food waste by creating other successful products like our beers and snacks. With the funds raised, we'll be able to develop new products that transform unsold goods into something new, tasty and fun. We'll expand our team and make our voice heard even louder. Biova Project's Beers and Snacks

Today, Biova Project represents the most complete vertical range of "beers against waste" - brews that save up to 30% of virgin raw materials by using agri-food byproducts and unsold goods. Our beer line is made from unsold bread, pasta scraps and broken rice recovered from major Italian market players.

In 2022, we also launched Ri-Snack, a savory snack made from spent barley malt - a brewing byproduct already used in our beers that gets repurposed a second time to create a crunchy, irresistible snack.
